Fan Fictions...
They're a good way to begin writing; the plot and characters are already planned out for the most part. But more experienced writer's enjoy them too.
As for matters on this site, they are to be treated the same way as the Short Stories no matter how long they might be. This is only because many Fan Fiction writers like to right many more than just one or two Fan Fictions, and the Forum would get too crowed will thirty Fan Fiction boards.
For the most part, Fan Fictions can be about any TV show, Book, Movie, or Japanese Anime/Manga out there. Remember, though, that it has to follow Proboards ToS, so anything out of those lines cannot be written about.
Unlike any of the other Categories on this site, the Fan Fictions will have a special thread, locked at the top of the board, that explains the basis of the topic(s) (Shows, Books, Anime, ect.). This information will be provided by one of the Admins so the author of the board doesn't have to worry about it.
You are only allowed one Fan Fiction board, but you can write about as many things that you want. Just be sure to PM one of the Admins that you're writing about another topic so they can provide the necessary information.
